Keaton spent more than ten years at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, where he rose through the ranks to lead several elite divisions, including Homicide, Major Offenders, and Gangs/Organized Crime. He led the prosecution in numerous complex, high-profile trials, including the case against former HPD officer Gerald Goines and a capital murder case involving a fatal robbery at a Dollar General store. Known for his rigorous preparation and commanding courtroom presence, Keaton brings that same intensity to his personal injury practice—fighting for clients who deserve justice and meaningful compensation.

He earned his Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law, where he served as Lead Editor of the Duke Journal of Comparative & International Law and as President of both the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and the Christian Legal Society.
